Hi Maurits:
My personal experience has also been that getting low on hard disk space
creates major problems. I have also heard others say the same thing. I just
know that when my free disc space got low (I don¹t remember exactly how
low,
but way more than 400 MB) everything slowed way down even processes
that I
didn¹t think were using the disc. I wasn¹t running Tiger, so maybe
Apple has
fixed the problem however I am not about to find out ;)
It was agonizing.
