I have installed same set of drivers for my EMI 6|2 w/o any problems...
I use an Intel MacBook with OS X .4.7
It looks like you need to change permissions on your startup items folder.
You can do get info on the folder and click on the lock to change
permissions.
Give yourself full control for that folder.
