So, as others said, use Carbon Copy Cloner but, also, you should move all your samples to a second hard drive. All the EXS instrument SAMPLES can be moved around (move just the SAMPLES, not the actual insrument files). And do the same with third parties instrument plug-ins you have. And all Apple Loops too. For example, I have a second hard drive with all the NI Battery 2 samples, Stylus .dat file, All EXS samples, All NI Elektrick Piano samples and ALL my Apple Loops from Logic, Garage band, Soundtrack Pro, Jam Packs and some others I have bought. (Sometimes you just need to move the samples that Logic will find them. But other times you will need to put an alias for the sample folders or .dat files in the original place in your system HD.) And of course, if you can, use a third HD to record your Logic projects and audio files. So, use different HDs for the Samples, Apple Loops and for Logic sessions and audios. Regards, Gordon
