It will create a bootable copy of your drive. You might need to put your new drive into an enclosure, make your clone, then install the drive in your machine (or put your old drive into an enclosure after installing the new drive) Are you recording your audio files to your system drive? If so, that definitely explains your space issue. The solution there is to record audio to an external drive which would likely result in better performance of your machine overall Stuart- Holmestudio Music Poway, CA
