Clavinet - I owned a Hohner D6 and I made a little comparison with
EVD6. The samples are a lame variation to a Mad Professor tune and
are in the ogg format - use VLC to play them. The EVD6 sample is EQed
to match the real clavinet as good as possible. I installed new
hammer tips on the clavinet before this recording.

I like the real D6 much more. It just sounds like a musical
instrument to me.
Rhodes - I own a Magnetica sample CD, EVP88 and played and recorded a
Rhodes mkII stage piano. I like the mkII best, then comes the
Magnetica CD and the EVP88 is the worst sounding in this trio, IMO.
Wurlitzer - sorry I hate the Wurlitzer sound :)
All the Logic instruments are perfectly usable, but they just dont
sound as good as the real instruments, IMO. However, even better
virtual instruments cannot sound like the real thing when you dont
have the right keyboard - the clavinet has a special shallow
keyboard, the Rhodes has a very stiff keyboard and the Hammond organs
have more or less that "waterfall" keyboard, that can be played by
your breath. The keyboard is a big part of the sound of the
instrument and you have to remember that, if you want your VI's to
sound similar.
