Hi again
I will repeat my question then did you actually try my suggestion???
It
sounds from what you write above that you didn¹t, and are simply
assuming it
doesn¹t work. It does.
The Quicktime Musical instrument will play back a standard MIDI file in
Logic, and it separates the tracks into individual sounds, just like what
you are asking. Don¹t confuse this with using Apple¹s Quicktime
Player to
play back the file! I am talking about inserting the player into the Logic
environment so that it acts like a multi-timbral synthesizer-WITHIN Logic.
Please go back and read my post, and try it. You will get all the
instruments on separate tracks, which you can solo, mix, edit and anything
else you want to do. The only thing you can¹t do is bounce to disk
but
that is another discussion.
If you actually did try it and still can¹t get it to work let me know
and
I¹ll try to help you again.
