It does, but you need several C batteries in it to do so.
To the original poster - there's no ROM or anything to reset
the original factory presets. It came with a sheet listing
all the parameters in a big chart (ah, the days when synths
only had 50 or so parameters...), so if you have that or can
find someone to fax it to you, you can type them in. Or, you
can find the original program cassette and reload it, if you
can figure out how to hook up a cassette tape. Final option-
I found a site which has a .wav of the original factory tape,
so theoretically you could hook your computer's audio out to
the Poly 800 and "play" them back.
