This is a reply to #216899.
having recently converted to Logic, i am in the same boat as yourself. in DP this was very simple ala multi-record and Logic does allow you to shfit select multiple tracks to record enable them though not being as simple as DP, this is actually more powerful in Logic via the enviroment but i am having trouble in there as well, the terms emagic used to name the objects years ago still aplly, this drives me nuts as i have to constantly cross reference terminology in the manual like a foreigner with his translation book. either way it is always nice to "see" and read how others do this as i am sure i am not doing it correctly, i feel like i am having to hack the enviroment to get what i need done. anyone care on shedding some light on multi record setup both live and in the studio for complex multitimbrality? I am seriously looking at getting NI Kore for this reason but i would like to be able to do this in Logic. btw i also recently picked up the Pro 88 seems like a great buy for the money and the feel is pretty good still haven't tried the faders for Logic control becasue the autoload they give you is pretty ridiculous and can't make sense of it... looking forward to the day when this is 2nd nature -rv
