I have the same computer and I cannot record properly at the moment due to our current temperatures here in Austria. I would be very interested if someone comes up with an idea do make the iMac quieter. I thought about a switch for the fan but I need about 10 minutes per take and I am afraid to kill the machine. The fans start to make noise when I open Logic. I tried an empty screenset and to record with the screen saver on but it does not help. Should we fill the iMac with crushed ice? An external monitor and a closet for the machine would work ... ___ Peter Ostry
