Well I say BS. My 17 inch iMac (with a 7200 rmp HD Vs the 5400) has 2
gig ram, and most of the plug-ins work in universal mode.
Cost me about $1500 out the door, a stretch from the price of a
macbook pro.
I'm doing full productions, and am very pleased. It's as fast as my
older G5 Dual 1.8.
Forget him, he;s just trying to make a buck!
