Sounds rather like a foot switch than a sustain pedal (first step on, second step off). Or maybe a wrong polarity of the pedal results in a reversed action and is corrected by one device but not by the other. It might be a configuration issue. You could download MidiMonitor and check the incoming messages. ___ Peter Ostry
