I think the 36 separate mixer channel idea was still the best. All
he has to do is mute from the arrange page rather than the mixer
channels and logic will only process the regions that are active.
And yes unless you mute from the mixer channel logic dynamically
allocates the processing power and bypassing plugins also stops them
from consuming CPU.
