I'd be concerned (rightly or wrongly) about processor load as Logic would try and make sure I could playback all 36 tracks that would result at one time even though I'd never really need to. My understanding is that muting an audio track doesn't prevent it from being read and taking up processor capacity. I'd love to know if this is correct or not. Thanks, Stuart-
