Me too if you mean drums or other kinds of multitracking. If you only refer to single track overdubbing I usually just make several tracks using the same object and mute the ones I like the least. I may put the left overs from all my overdubbing into a folder called something recognizable. If you do mean drum tracking it can make life a little easier to leave the bass drum out of the folder so you have something to cut after in case you need to do some editting adding different takes together.
