Depending on the number of tracks you're running to/from the FW drive, and the number of simultaneous I/O active on the FW audio interface, you might be OK with them both on the same controller/bus. The G5s are not noted for their stellar FW I/O performance. You have to try it. If not, you'd add a FW card to a PCI slot, though you might run into other issues with PCI bandwidth depending on what else is in use there.
