Subject: Audio to score/groove template
Message #216814
I have a perfectly gated, totally isolated, very clean kick drum. But i just don't like the sound of it. I've messed around with different EQs, compression in logic and the UAD plugins and I'm still not liking it. I want to swap it out for a midi Kick from my Battery 2 plugin but I'm having trouble using the audio to midi feature in Logic Pro 7.2. I'm getting an absolute mass of midi notes where I was expecting only one and they seem to have no relevance to the kick what so ever? Does anyone have experience of this feature and can tell me where I'm going wrong, or a better way to pursue it. I have lots of songs to do and would like to avoid drawing or playing every note in.
