HI Flo,
it´s not really your mistake, i know dongle- and
software-authorisation
problems running Logic very well, since i use it- and do not accept it at a
software that is sold with a "professional" attitude. I remember
me crawling
around under my table since old times of the ATARI-Log3 interface. That is
very unuseful while trying to run a spontaneous presentation of my work in
the studio with a potential customer sitting next to me...
Lots of anger with that... I thought this shouldn´t be a problem any
more
on PC- or Mac Platforms. But my PC-Dongle - connectet to the COM1 Port with
no Mouse or Modem - fails to work at about 10percent of all Logic-starts.
I bought a G4 Mac for a Friend, who is trying to start running a
professional Postproduction Studio and- we are waiting for the delevery of a
simple Dongle-Adaptor since weeks, so we can not start to work with Logic.
I really hate those Logic-dongles and Es1-software-authorisation - they can
be idea- and income -killers.
Jochen
