Subject: [LUG] Re: LAMP and gigasampler on a pc
Message #21675
This is a reply to #21668.
first off go to soniccontrol.com, they have a great set of user forums for gigasampler owners (and no censoring of messages goes on like I hear goes on on some other forums, naming none!). next,I have a pc here and am a mac user; I tried out giga for an evening and about fell over at the pianos, so I have a place for giga in my new almost-done studio. I can say it seems like the ultimate samplecell, but can't give any reliability reports of yet. I hear it is unstable if you try and use the pc for anything else (like sequencing etc), but stable if you dedicate a pc to it, so it is just another expansion module. I got my software from a guy in Canada that is now doing turnkey setups, someone called Mike Warning. cheerz! > >HI- are there any mac users using logic( on mac) and gigasampler on a >separate pc?
