Subject: [LUG] Long Term Archiving of Logic Sessions
Message #216617
This is a reply to #216464.
I'm curious as to what the current preference is for large capacity, long term archiving of sessions. I have a client who records lots of long form, multitrack jazz stuff, and he's also a packrat. While the availability of large, cheap external drives makes on-the-fly safety backups simple, eventually we'll need to dump this stuff off, and standard DVD's aren't going to cut it. I realize hi-density DVD is on the horizon, but we may need something sooner and I'm leaning toward a tape drive. Any recommendations appreciated. Sean McCoy Oregon Sound Recording
