Greetings: The advice given below is a bit misinformed. The *old* Magma expansion chassis (which uses an expansion bay "host") will not work with the *new* PowerBooks. The "new* Magma expansion chassis, which use a tiny CardBus (aka PCMCIA) card host interface *does* work with the new "Pismo" PowerBooks. Magic Dave (of MOTU) has been demoing with this setup for a few months now. I have an old setup, both PowerBook and Magma, so I'm OK. But if I change one, I'll have to change the other. Capisce?
