Hi Klaus, I don´t get a low memory message, but the Logic hanging. This is no crash here it just takes some time (sometimes 1-2 minutes) to change the song. I agree that this is not satisfactory! If I add the time to open for example 4 LM4s plus load 4 sets (one set about 1MB), the sum of this (theoretical) loading time is much less than changing a song. How much memory have you assigned to Logic? Keep in mind that VST-2 instruments use the RAM assigned to Logic, not the system heap. I allways give Logic 50-70 MB. With this setting it is no problem to load big drumsets or large Reaktor Ensembles.
