Set the input to external microphone before opening logic. Afaik you may not record from the CD input but its anyway better to grab audio directly by using the "open movie", selecting the audio CD track and saving it to disk as aiff file. There is a options button just before you save that allows you to save only parts of the track, very useful for sampling CDs. > ......... > Since I'm able to set up and record on my other system, I'm almost > certain I'm setting everything in LAM properly, but maybe I'm missing > something? Is this a bug in os9/Sound Manager/LAMG? Anything else I > can try? Set Logic to Auto Input Monitor, arm a track and you will be able to hear what comes in on the mini-jack Mac input. cu klo ----------------------- Klaus Lotz e-mail: klo@... http://www.musicshop.de http://www.chrom.de/home/pogatschar (Mac9600/G3/250MHz/OS9/PT24Mix/2xOldFarms/2xSCell/Magma/U-DMA-Raid,MiroDC20)
