Hope this helps, Mike I really recommend the PCExpress Card - a good investment. I do a lot of work with portables and have used a LaCie PC 800 on my last few G4 laptops with RME Hammerfall and Fireface. It just makes sense to use all available ports. My last G4 laptop ran Fireface,(PC Card) external Hard Drive (FW800) and Powercore (FW400)
