I really don't understand what you are talking about either. as far as this specific point goes, there is an exact right place for the audio to be in time. This is all we are trying to achieve - the audio in its right place. I am not understanding where perception comes in to play. in my opinion, no fiddling around should be necessary. Logic should just be able to automatically compensate for latency due to routing audio to/from outboard gear. Am I the only one? Whether the "Nuendo latency ping" feature is real or not, it makes perfect sense, and should be added to Logic asap. mr. m
