"> Ears can work but not all of them say the same thing to their owners" so to paraphrase - your perception of the delay will differ depending on any number of not so scientific things. Simply measuring the value does not then in fact ensure an acceptable result. And so we are right back to the beginning - get the tool, make the fix, fiddlle the value about, keep working. And thanks Howard for the proper quote from the CuBase Manual making clear that they do in fact have external device ddelay compensation built right in! Ill stick with Logic though - still the champion in my book!
