Subject: [LUG] Time stretching / Serato
Message #216010
1° in Logic, I would like to quantize a whole clickless song to a fixed tempo by timestretching its audio files. Is there an easy quick way to do this in Logic ? 2° After giving the consolidated quantized files to a friend who will post-produce / edit them a gogo using Cubase, I would like to import the resulting new Cubase/Reason tracks in the original (quantized) Logic song, where they should fit tempo wise. But then I would like to apply to these tracks a time-stretch process which would be the inverse of the process applied to the original files in 1°, and thus align them to the original (unquantized) perfrmance. How do I do this ? Can Serato's Pitch'n'Time LE help me with this other than by providing a superior algorythm for Time Machine ? Any help would be greatly appreciated
