This is a reply to #215949.
Just wanted to report back after a couple of days of tablet use, and again thank those that responded and advised. I've been working with the Intuos3 A5 Wide tablet, and although it's going to take a while for me to become as efficient as I was with a mouse, I think this way of working has real potential. I'm still experimenting with absolute/relative mode, but overall seem to find relative (mouse) mode easier for getting around screen real-estate. I do find that in this mode you have to experiment with speed/acceleration settings a fair bit to feel comfortable, and I'm not sure I've quite nailed it yet. Can I just ask the following: 1. What are other tablet users using the pen buttons for? Right click seems an obvious contender, to bring up the tool float. Aside form double-click, is there an obvious choice for the second button? 2. For some reason I'm finding horizontal scrolling quite awkward. In absolute mode it feels unnatural to be working right at the edge of the tablet for such a common action, and in relative mode - I dunno, it just feels awkward. Is there any way of assigning a Logic Key Command to horizontal scrolling, and then assigning that command to two of the tablet buttons perhaps...? Thanks again for all the help. Jules
