Um.... so it seems that ClueFace and NoEndPro DO NOT in fact use a ping or any other noise, Sonar (he he) based or not. It is still necessary to either: Use the previously described method to measure and calculate the latency-based delay resulting from inserting an external processor into a DAW. But how did you know there was a problem in the first place - you heard it right? So - peep game: Download & Install Latency Fixer from Expert Sleepers http://www.expertsleepers.co.uk/ Now here comes the hard part.....turn on the speakers, listen and compensate to taste - this will not take nearly as long as the measure and calculate method. And I am sure that whether you or the host app measured and calculated you will wind up moving the compensation value around anyway so skip the messy science stuff and use your ears - you are working with sound after all. BTW - Latency Fixer V1.0 - still the same version 5 years later - and I am sure there are VST solutions as well for those SteamBurgh folx - MOTU uses AU - ProTools has Trillium Labs Aggro for both TDM and RTAS so are we all clear then?
