Yes I agree. I had a debate with a friend of mine who thought that
you didn't need Rocket at all to have these same features. You could
use IRC prog and send files to one or many people thru that. You
might even use something like i-drive or similar to keep copies of
your stuff online. Of course you need a few programs to do that but
it would not cost the same since that means you could also have
"private" studios without paying monthly fee. One thig that just
occured to me is that you'd still need that Logic-Rocket program
since regular Logic can't play mp3 files (is that the format Rocket
is using ?) or otherwise even the "testfiles" you'd use would have
to
be uncompressed audiofiles. Also you really need something more that
just modembased netconnection which might be quite expensive in
different parts of world (although I don't see this as big problem
with professionals as it is for those of us who do this simply for
the love of music).
Another great thing with this idea is that if you had a logic using
friend you might even think about saving money by buying different
plug ins and asking a friend to have "Auto Tune" your vocals while
offering him the Renessaince compressor on his bass :-)

Now add a small USB camera for this and we could actually see each
other :-) A scary thought :-)
