As noted above, you will need to get version 7.2 or later, and yes your plugs need to be UB. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Logic 7 adds some new plugs and softsynths (from v6). When I went from Logic 5 to 7, my old XS key worked straight away - the program authorized the key once and it was cool. The key continues to work, by the way, with v5 (although I can't use both at the same time, obviously).
