I recently experienced a technical failure with my G4 powerbook, and fortunately the insurance company replaced it with a Mac Book Pro. Until now I was unaware of the whole Universal software situation and assumed that all my music software would runs on the new machine. I am now concerned that Logic Gold may not run properly and I'll have to shell out £150 for L7. Will all my plug-ins needs to be Universal too?? (I am particularly concerned about PSP Vintage warmer). Also, my XS Key was set up for the other machine, which is no longer with me. How do I register the new machine with the key so I can actually boot Logic Gold up?? Is it just me or has this whole Intel decision making the process of making music very complicated!
