I posted about this a week ago or so, with no response whatsoever, so I'll piggyback your thread. I have heard that nuendo and cubase has a way of compensating for outboard gear by pinging the I/O chain and calculating the latency based on that ping. Has anyone heard of this? More importantly, has anyone heard of some kind of AU plugin that can do this? I was thinking about requesting this kind of functionality from the expert sleepers developers, but i think expecting any kind of results from them now is highly unlikely. groove- mr. m
