I would recommend running the HD serially after the Fireface (FW on Mac->Fireface->FW HD). You don't mention which MBP you're talking about as the 17" has a FW800 port in addition to the FW400 one (which is all the 15" has). If its the 15" (FW400 only) then it is possible to run the Fireface on a 400 bus. If its the 17" bung the fireface on the 800 socket and the HD on the 400. If all this proves insufficient then its possible to buy more FW ports in the form of a 3/4PCIExpressCard. Hope this helps, Mike
