Subject: Mixing for Film
Message #215898
I am a sound designer/composer. And most of my work has been in doing promos for TV, though I have done a few films. I have never been certain of the levels I should be hitting. =for promos, one should hit at average at -10 db, or 0 on Coleman meters. Does anyone know the specs for film? Also for long format tv (tv shows)? I was under the impression that for long format tv, one must never go above -10db (0 on the colemans) and thought the same might be true for film. If anyone know the answer, please let me know...
