I'm after a bit of advice on alternative input devices...
I work with Logic 10-12 hours a day, and am finding that after heavy
editing sessions, the fingers on my mouse-hand are getting quite
sore - kind of an ache in the joints. My mouse is comfortable
enough, and I've tried different models, but the repeated button
clicking action seems to be causing or aggravating some joint issues.
As a result, I figured it was worth looking into alternative ways of
working, perhaps with a touch-pad or tablet and pen, maybe even a
trackball.
I just wondered if anyone here has any experience with these devices
and can advise on how effective they are. I don't mind paying
sensible money for something which is perhaps a little less grueling
on the clicking fingers, because I've (hopefully) got many more years
of 'mousing' ahead of me. I've heard touch and tablet pads are a
more ergonomic and natural way to work, so perhaps this would help.
Many thanks for any help or advice.
Jules
