Yeah, I came across it last night, downloaded it and the manual (nice little manual at that - anyone in their first few days struggling with the Godzilla that is Logic would be well advised to absorb the basics with this little beauty if only to get into the Emagic mindset.) It has audio tracks enabled (I think only four in off-line mode) which the magazine CD's recently around didn't have. The more I'm looking at this concept it seems to be a cross between chat room plus MIDI/audio and sort of muso cybersex. I have to admit to being quite shy yet excited by the idea. This could be a monster (in all senses of the word). You can hire a "private room" for a small fee. I wonder how long before this list has it's own crowded, sweaty basement...throbbing with strange, mutant collaborations (Markus lurking somewhere in a corner amongst the shadows in his rubber suit - scuba diving gear that is - tapping his flipper, quietly monitoring what we all get up to). Hell, this list might even produce it's own concept album - subtly blending "my dongle doesn't work, Emagic suck", with Speed Garage bass lines, interminable Wakemanesque solos (from the over '40's crew) and all at 120 UPM (unsubscribes per minute). Now, who's gonna go first?
