Is there a way to draw triplets > into the GM Drum Kit Hyper Editor while in 4/4 time? There sure is a way. every row in hyper editor can have its own quantize/grid setting. To change it click on the "Grid" setting in the parameters for the drum you want to edit. You would probably want to set it to 1/12th note for all your triplets, just use every other grid line for the 1/4 note trips or set it to 1/6th note for them(in that mode the quarter notes are also displayed, but you will not be able to draw on those grid points, kinda strange). Any way when you are finished with your triplet fill set it back to 16th or whatever you had it at. Additionally- you can really tweak the groove in hear by setting the delay and grid parameters for the different drums- put the snare a little ahead of the beat, apply different swing settings to different drums - pretty cool. Also it is nice to prevent getting to busy a kick by setting it to eighth notes while the snare hat are still on sixteenths. posibillities are endless..... Loudon -- http://loudonstearns.com
