Subject: Send All Current Fader Values logic 5.x
Message #215022
Hi, im hoping someone can help with a problem i'm having. Here's the situation. I've set up various environments to control outboard midi gear, one of which is a midi controller set up for the track mixer. Another one is a patch editor for a midi synth. Everything works fine, even have parameter feedback from the mixer. The problem is that when i switch patches on the midi controller i would like to get the current fader data recalled. I found the function "send all current fader values" which does solve the problem, but creates another, it resets the patch editor, which is very undesireable. So the question is, is there some way to stop an enviroment layer being included in the "send all current fader values" command, or is there a better way of recalling the mixer fader values that wont send data to the other layers?
