I also thought ReMOTE 61 SL was ideal for my setup and purchased it, but had to return it to the distributor. The 1st unit had troubles described below. I talked to the distributor and they sent the best unit they can send to me. But it was not so better than the 1st one. The keyboard was too sensitive - it outputted high velocities (like above 110) too easily, and many of the black keys were more sensitive than the white keys. I found it very hard to use for velocity- sensitive patches such as piano, no matter which velocity curve I chose. Velocity sensitive drumpads of the 1st unit also had irregular sensitivities. They had sensitivity calibration settings, but the dispersion was so serious that I couldn't calibrate them. Maybe the ones that came to Japan only... but make sure that the keyboard "feels" and "sounds" right with your velocity-sensitive patches before buying it. As far as other aspects are concerned, I think it is a very good product.
