The main guy I get for most of my sessions also has a Mesa Boogie silver metal pre amp pedal thing that really is incredible. Don't know the model number but the 3 band eq - very simple high, mid, low, - is so sweet and can get such a huge range of tones from it. I just always end up preferring some air moving around captured with a mic over a simulator. About the only time I find a simulator useful is if I need a REALLY big dirty power sound so I get a couple of passes with the amp and then maybe a pass or two with the simulator so the sounds are more different to get it bigger... ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Paul Najar Jaminajar Music Production www.jaminajar.com ----------------------------------------------------------------- LUG Group Buy for Serato's Pitch n' Time LE until June 14th!
