If they add > another 36 keys it would be perfect They have 25, 37 and 61-note versions, and one version with no keys : ) I didn't really need another keyboard, my Fantom Workstation is fine for me- I was lured by the knobs and buttons and the trackpad. I wanted two extra handy octaves in front of me though. There are octave buttons on the SL- pretty easy to change octaves and the LED's display what octave you currently have engaged. Using it in Logic is a breeze- there's a 'flip' mode button and you can scroll through intuitive pages that let you know what you are controlling in Logic. The transport controls simply work. You have to set the SL up in the controller preferences as you would expect. The Novation Bass Station AU is a great bonus too. All in all a great product. Control Surface technology for DAWs is definitely maturing.
