Hello Everyone:
Until recently I have used a Yamaha 01V digital mixing board in my
studio setup. I have reduced my outboard gear, sold my mixer and gone
mixerless. I now use Mackie's big knob for studio control, running my
3 remaining outboard synths directly into my soundcard (MOTU 2408MKII).
I need a good mic preamp to run one microphone through. The quality
needs to be on par with the mic pre's on the Yamaha 01V (or even of
Mackie mixer quality). What would you recommend? There are mic pre's
running into the thousands of dollars, but I don't need anything like
that...only something comparable to the Yamaha (or mackie) Mic Pre's.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help!
Dave
