Mike,
You're welcome. The private organization is a school called the Pacific
Northwest Film
Scoring Program which runs classes on film scoring/orchestration and has
added tech
such as Logic and DP classes. (An incredible resource for the Seattle area).
So it's an
education gig. I've also done GB classes for a private K-12 school.
Don't overlook GB! It costs nothing or next to nothing so it's a minimal
budget strain for
schools, has reasonable tools, and people will pay to become enlightened on
it. Some may
even move up to Logic. It will be very easy for you to learn if you don't
already use it. Its
podcasting feature is going to be very popular.
So go check out schools - both public and private. See what their music
programs are
about. Offer to train instructors or students. My guess is the private
schools are easier to
work with - less bureaucracy and degree requirements. Good luck.
