I've looked at the Nomad Factory but they seem a little too vintage in their design for what I've looking for. > Sonalksis I have too, and despite hundreds of reviews across the > 'net claiming the 517 EQ has that silk smooth top end sound, I > don't agree. I've DL'd a Sonalksis demo and I'm waiting for my next album mix to start on Friday. I'll give it a run then. > Just been demoing the URS classic console EQ's and the Waves SSL > bundle the last week. I've never been a big fan of the SSL eq sound. I'm much more of a Neve guy but as I said in my original post "character" eq is not a problem. I already have the Pultec & Pultec Pro on my UAD-1 cards and they are truly beautiful sounding EQ's in a vintage style and UA are about to launch their Neve eq models for UAD so I would be much happier giving them a go than a native equivalent. Have you even tried the Waves Renaissance eq? What were your thoughts on that? > I will be buying the URS's though. Solid production! Thanks! That was a few years ago now.... Kind regards ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Paul Najar Jaminajar Music Production www.jaminajar.com
