One maybe not so obvious scenario is the case of someone who gets a
job and finds they need to use Logic on this job. If I was a studio
owner hiring someone I would not base my entire evaluation of them on
what software they know, no matter what I was using.
There could be many folks out there who are thrown into Logic,
kicking and screaming and need to get up to speed.
Also, students and interns could benefit from this certification as
well.
For many purposes, the Logic Cert. could be considered as more of a
very good tutorial rather than a way to obtain some legally binding
accredited Logic Diploma. Of course as time goes on, and more and
more facilities implement Logic, this certification can become a good
evaluation tool for prospective employees.
