Subject: [LUG] Can I run Logic 7 on a 700MHz G3 iBook using little-to-no fx?
Message #213298
I have an opportunity to get a free iBook G3 but will need to upgrade the RAM to at least 512MB in order to run Logic. But before investing in RAM, I would of course like to know if the minimum requirements stated by Apple are the true minimum requirements to do VERY BASIC things with Logic. Specifically, I want to port some stripped down tracks produced on my Powermac to the iBook in order for my band to rehearse to some songs with a click track. So I would want to play back approximately 10-12 tracks of audio, and no fx would be necessary. Will Logic 7 function in this capacity? Many thanks, David
