I run Logic Express on an iBook G4 1.4 and rarely use much in the way
of soft synths or plug-ins, and can use hardware monitoring to deal
with the latencies inherent in high buffer settings, but as I explore
the possibilities in Logic I expect to have issues. I was thinking of
simply getting an intel Mac Mini to use at home and network it with
my laptop to take advantage of distributed processing. Does
distributed processing require that file sharing is turned on?
