Subject: [LUG] RE: Frontier Tranzport record functions
Message #213219
This is a reply to #212275.
Today I installed and set up a Tranzport for a client, who, as I mentioned earlier, needs to be able to record audio and MIDI from his piano. I found that this would only work if Logic was armed and set up properly from the computer first (i.e., the MIDI track shift-selected last). If the MIDI track was selected and record-activated from the Tranzport, only the MIDI track would record. If an audio track were selected, no MIDI would record. Although I doubt he'll need to do this, is it really possible to manipulate the tracks' record-ready status from the Tranzport and still record simultaneous audio and MIDI? I'll call Frontier on Monday, but I'm interested in any secrets that may be revealed!
