Wow, well I'm in the same boat as this other fellow, just bought Logic Express and, after 10 years on Cubase, I guess I'm a little surprised at the steep learning curve. I went to the Environment window and the only objects I see are a drum kit icon with the words "Drums Mapped" connected to a GM Device numeric pad. I have managed to figure out how to get sound from Instrument channels (pull up the mixer page and Send to Bus 1, then assign the track to a virtual instrument), but I haven't been able to get any sound out of any of the MIDI tracks. Anyone know of any good basic tutorials on Logic? TIA. Tony
