Subject: [LUG] deliberate feedback
Message #211927
I want to create a loop environment, meaning that I can feed a bus (or Aux) with a long delay inserted , back into itself, controlling the level of course. In Logic 5.5 I have made an environment like that, but in Logic 7.1 it does not work. I can't get the necessary feedback loop. Basically I need a audio strip with a delay inserted and the output is routed to an Out and also back to the input of the audio strip. For different reasons the feedback inside of a delay does not work for me here, as I need to treat and route the delayed signal in various ways, before going into the delay again. I use a MOTU 896 HD as hardware. I prefer the feeding back taking place inside of `Logic, but maybe Apple took that possibitity out to make it idiot proof, so I might have to go out and in again (digitally) through the Motu. Can I do that via the Adat optical? Like 8 out and back in again? Is that with an ordinary optical cable? Thanks and greetings, Beat
